The next tool you will need is a knife. You want a rather short bladed knife that does not have serrations on the edge, because you will cut the stems of the flowers against your thumb, and you don’t want the serrations to be pressing into your fingers. And when you go in to begin cleaning your flowers, you will also want to have a large pitcher of water ready to go directly to put your flowers in once you cleaned them.
